need help with HJT

I have a virus that keeps advertizements popping up from a certain search engine. It is called "uptown search engine". I went into the add remove programs, uninstalled it, and rebooted the system, but it still keeps popping up. I already copied my HJT logfile, but I don't know where to paste it so a knowledgable person can disect it, and tell me what else to do.
I don't want to put any unecessary posts. So I am starting here. I hope it is the right place to start.

Ok I went in and took a look at the read me first, however, I don't know which link I should try there are so many. I checked the running processes, thought this would show, but it doesn't. I don't see anything that resembles "uptown engine". I do see somethings that I do recognize, but at the same time, I don't want to remove something I may need. In principle, we want you to click on ALL the links which apply to your operating system, which will be most of them. In this way, you will be doing a portion of the cleaning of your computer as you go, and will hopefully find you are getting some relief from the popups fairly early on, and when you finish, you'll have several logs to post to us so we can see what remains to be gotten rid of.

We don't accept inline HijackThis logs, for one reason because they can contain live links which can be dangerous for other people's computers. Also, when you run our tools, hijackthis will be automatically renamed into analyse.exe which allows us to look for those particular clever bits of malware which have learned to evade detection by hijackthis.

Download and install CCleaner

Tell me if you are able to do this. Then I'll tell you how to run it.

I will then need for you to change your msconfig to normal mode if it's not in normal and I will need for you to show your hidden files. After you've installed CCleaner, we'll come back to doing these next two things.
