   Everytime I boot my pc I get an error saying, 'error p17 file not found'.

   Suggest you do a google search using p17.dll error as the exact phrase (in advanced search). Forget it, I just did. No results for P17.dll error. Are you sure it is not Rundll32P17 error.
   
   Google search on that will reveal plenty of links.
