Need help with power cable switch

I have an intel e210882 and I don't know where to plug in the Power switch cable and the reset switch cable... anyone have any knowledge in this area?

I found my AA number but intel has no info on it. it's AA c27501-401

Found out it's a Pentium 4 478 Pin Mobo but that's all I found out. Just need to know where to plug in the power cable lol don't want to **** anything up yknow?

 

well then you will go try and find. take a screw driver and bridge 2 at a time
leave then bridged for a few seconds. finally you will find the power jumbers.
there are grouped
power switch reset switch
power led hdd led and the speaker
to find the reset jumber you have to have it powered and search again.
in the mainboard is not any info printed?? some new mobos have the jumbers named for easier find.
(at one of my built i used a screw drive to power on so the sytem would not power and i went why read manual to be sure for the jumbers but still not power it up only to se after 10 minutes i was bridging the wrong ones lol)

 

Here is the header pin layout for Intel Desktop boards but I cannot guarantee that it is also for yours as you have a number that does not seem to show up. The closest I got was a AA c27501-404 which is a board intel makes for gateway. I have even seen the e210882 cross-referenced to both Dell board and gateway boards. You can use ouranos's suggestion with this as a reference.

akright well it's really funky cause one of the connectors has 4 pins and the others have between 3 and 2? it's weird here's some more pics.

 

sorry my hands are a little rough. I work in a warehouse and touch cardboard all day long so they tend to get a little dry. feel a little self conscious now...

 

led maybe has 3 pins but actually 2 cables thus it is a 2 pined in a 3pin construction.
this bizzare jumber construction make it dificult to use some mainboards to some cases.
2pin design at mainboard 3 pin design at the case.
what ever the case at the mainboard there will be 2 pin for the power and 2 pin for the reset
now if they are vertical or horizontal aligned you must try and find.

 

Your Power connector seems to have only 2 pins which fits your motherboard. The power LED connector has 3. You may have to rewire the connector or buy an adapter. Speaker connection is somewhere else on the motherboard.

Hi Magas,

For future reference: Remove the front cover and visually check the cables to determine which is which. Today most of the connectors are labeled and also the motherboard. You were unlucky in haveing no such luck. I usually use Oranous' suggestion with the screw driver. No dangerous voltages preset except on the 4 pin straight connector for the speaker so stay away from it.
