Need help with Wireless issue

Ok here are my specs.From my Note book gateway NV57H57.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

Intel Core i5 2430M @ 2.40GHz
Sandy Bridge

6.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)

Gateway SJV50_HR (CPU1)

Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Acer Incorporated [ALI])

High Definition Audio Device

Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205

I am having trouble with the wireless connection.This is my moms computer.
When i go to play some games the wireless Link speed will say 300Mbps to 144Mbps and down to 1Mbps.And then i get cut off on my games.Kinda annoying if you ask me.I am not really good with laptops.I am better with desktops.So can any one give a step buy step solution.

I just updated to the Wireless_17.14.0_Ds64 version just a few mins ago.

 

I think i might have fixed the issue with the new driver.

What i did is i went into My computer section.

Then to Device Manager.

Then i went into Network adapters.

And while i wad in Network section i clicked on the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 option and went to properties option.

Then Driver option tab.

And be for i uninstalled the driver i made sure i had the latest driver up date.And then i uninstalled it.Then installed the newer driver.And so far i have not have had an issue with the game cutting out on me what so ever.
