need help with xbox live lag

    I wouldnt say lag i just would say delayed shots (In shooters [Gears of War]). For some people i do get the delay. if anyone could help:

    Router - Netgear Range Max
    I use a Linksys Game Adapter/Bridge Wireless-G
    No security
    MAC Filter
    I opened port 3074(witch is the one xbox said)
    Ive tried the DMZ but that makes it worse.
