   I have a laptop that everything was deleted off it and i need to install win 98 i have the cd but when it comes to boot up i cant boot to install ive set it to boot off of cd but its not how do i put the operating system on it.

   Your BIOS may not support the correct bios code to boot to it...

   Grab a botodisk and install that way.
