Thank you for the Welcomes. To Kestral13 I did what you said to do and could not find it listed. Next I don't know what BSOD is. SORRY I said I don't know what I am doing. And I can't tell you what kind of a fire wall I have either. DUH !!!!! I even had a hard time getting to these answers. But thanks. Hope someone will come up with something for me. I also need to throw in that when this blue screen appears,it says that it needs to close internet explorer ( I think ) so my computer is not harmed. It then dumps files ( I think again ) and then reboots. The screen is blue w/white printing. I hope this adds alittle more.

BSOD = Blue Screen Of Death. This refers to error messages that pop up, essentially crashing your PC. There's usually an error number like STOP:0x0000007E. These errors have a blue background and white lettering, and take up the entire screen. To continue using the PC after a BSOD, you must either power the PC off and on, or press the Reset button. Anyway: Click Start, click Run, and type appwiz.cpl and press Enter. This will take you to Add/Remove Programs. Look for this Authentium Security Firewall/Antivirus somewhere in the list. If you see it, select it, and remove it.

EDIT- I just read your above post for a 2nd time.... if you can post the error number and any file names or messages that it shows, we may be able to offer some better advice.

Thanks dlb. Now I know what BSOD means. I also followed your instructions. When I got to add and remove it was not there in the list. ?????? I did remove Norton / Symantec or anyting that I saw that pertained to it. Norton screwed up my computer once before. I think it was put on when I changed to earthlink. I also have dial-up soooooo everything is extremely S...L....O....W !! When and if I get the BSOD again I will make sure I can get whatever I can copy before it reboots. THANKS again.
