need help!!

    i downloaded a video file in avi and it will not play the video on media player or will not let me burn it to a dvd it will only play the audio.

    Try VLC Media Player, it may determine that it is corrupt or possibly not even an AVI file, but renamed that. VLC Can usually play most files that are mostly there, even some unfinished ones, or ones with the wrong extension. It is a free program. I have seen some AVI files that were just sound, as that is all the recording person had available on their device to use the microphone.
