Need Help

I went and scanned with the new Windows Live Care and it cleaned my registry...i know....i know...i shouldn't have but too late now...anyway...now i have this windows will install fax thing coming up every time i start up but when i try to install it says it cannot...I really don't need it anyway so how can i stop it from coming up?

System Restore?

 

Does WLC create a backup of what it deletes from the reg.

 

nope no backup and my system restore won't work...so now i've got find out why this isn't working

Try this
Go to Start Run and type msconfig in the box that opens. Click on Startup and see if the reference that is annoying you is there. Disable it. Could be the answer. If it reappears after that then you will have to go into the heavy stuff as previously mentioned.
