I would like to be able to send my family some digital photos, but I am not too favorable of sending them over the net. I tried e-mailing them, but then the e-mails I have only allow about 1 to 2 photos at a time! Are there any good ideas for this, other than "private" file sharing through the net?

If you mean another method besides you setting up HPFS or an FTP, there are services like yousendit that allow 1 gig 'mail' transfers.

Another way to share alot of pictures at one time is sign up for a account with photobucket and upload all the pictures you want to share. Photobucket has an option to share your album with people. You will be able to email them the link to your account and your password (you can create a guest password if you dont want them to use yours) in which they can access the pictures and view them/download them etc..

I've uploaded about a billion pictures on photobucket :D Its really easy to use and if you dont like emailing them then why not give this a shot.. Good Luck!
