    Hi

Looks good, with a decient CPU and 3GB ram, only thing that would put me off is Intel GFX, but then I dont know what this laptop will be used for? if surfing the net and general word processing etc then fine, if any sort of gaming then borderline with many.

What sort of price is this going for at Staples, I cannot get price as no US zip code, but HPs site has it for $649 which is good for the spec, so any lower at Staples is a bonus.

looks like it's $499 before a $50 rebate...not bad. like halo said, if you are just gonna do email and internet, then you will like it, good price too.

It is for my wife. She does some flash games, but no real gaming. It used to be if you spent $300-$500 for a system you bought headaches. With the drop in prices, I have no clue now. :confused

How bad is the graphics card?

It's not that it's bad, just that you can't play modern games. Of course flash games are just fine as are movies and videos.

as augie says below, its not that bad, just not in the leagues as Ati or Nvidia dedicated GFX, but will definatly do for flash games etc. Think these days the prices of laptops have dropped dramatically but the quality of them has not, they are still in the major brands very good.... just a bit of a shocker when you see the spec of that laptop you referenced and then look at the price now to what a few years back would have cost near $2000

This is using her "Economic Stimulus Money" so is all good. ;)
I guess we will go tomorrow night and look at one. I think we would have 14 days to return it if we find we do not like it.

I spent my Stimulus Package last year on this system I use. What a great way to "grow" America with Taiwan electronics! :-D
