Hey guys im new to this forum, so on a good note id like to say hey and im very excited to be a member of the community,

But also on a bad note, im having some virus problems, it only started yesterday when i opened up an email and something on my computer closed it as it said it has something in one of the emails (virus etc).
So i thought nothing of it, then when i was on internet explorer, i closed the browser i had open, and up popped around 100 more internet explorer boxes with the same website i had just visited showing.
Now i have done a AVG Virus Scan and it has picked up an item called
"Adware.RogueSuspect" and it relates to a folder named:
"Spyclean" but i havent downloaded a program called spyclean and according to good old GOOGLE spyclean is a virus cleaning program?
So what i need to know is,
If AVG Has picked it up will it delete it?
Is this RougeSuspect Harmful to my computer? (As in will it get any details etc or is it spyware?)
And anything else you all would like to add to help me :cry
    Thanks! :drool

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Notes:
    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, You can try running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
