Need software.

I am looking for a program other than Adope so that I can open and transfer a document into Excel [it is my pay cycle, and I want to add my own info in there for taxation purposes] Anyone know of a Freeware/Shareware that is not too expensive.

If I am not mistaken there was a program included with some scanners that would let you change text in a scanned document. I know it is not Excel but it may be worth looking into. The suplier I think was Caere Corporation. It came packaged with my scanner. Worst comes to worst you may look into making your own Excel document. That is easy for someone that has a lot of time on my hands. Good Luck Gener1

 

What format is the document you want to move to excel? PDF?

 

Yes what is the format?!? Many docs can be imported depending on format

 

File ends in 'tbd' Have tried a few pieces of software that came with previous scanners, but to no avail. But thanks for suggestions PK

 

Well a quick google seems to indicate .tbd is an image type file format so I am at a loss as to what you can do. You could establish a spreadsheet in excel and manually enter the data. Hopefully someone else may have an idea.

Will have to do it the hard way it seems, but thank you everyone for the suggestions.
