I would say it might be a pain but i would go and Do a Full Reformat of Xp.It will wipe all info and will get rid of any Virus's.

Quick Format normally will leave Files and folders be hind.

see thats the funny thing , ive sence ran all malware removal tools i have and all my protection and nothing registers im coming back clean every time , my mbrc says im running fine , my scroll doesnt work right and i think u saw my attachment on my post from my registry tool , i can go to my clock right , and on the reset it has the right time but on my desk top it might say 23:59 lol my screen is wobbeling all that , i ran the version of combo fix and it said drivers offset thats why i did the registry repair scan but nothing has came up nfected as n a trojen or anything , i do understand what u mean by the quick nstall but when i had the choise on the xp hard disk to do quick or custom , i tried custom first and it wanted to partition , i agree i beleve it saved files that were bad , n my results it also keeps pointing at systems restore files , how would i do the new format with out partition

hey if i ran the program from here called killdisk and did a re install do u think that might work the registry repair says non existing files so i thought if i used killdisk , then re installed and then do ms updates it might work ?

I'm not an expert but I have used killdisk. The reason I used it was in order to sell an old computer. It wipes everything off the hard drive. Sometimes you have to run it a few times to make sure. What I'm getting at is, If you do a full format and clean install of your OS, everything should be OK. Just don't reinfect your computer by reloading bad files. I've formatted mine several times because of stubborn viruses and it has worked every time.
