Need some help please.

Ok I have 6 minutes until I gotta leave for the bus now I have 2 computers the one im on doesnt work very well at all and then theres my new one that is in my room that is flawless way faster. Now the problem is I ahve a belkin internet splitter but net speed is 1550k it splits speed in half now theres a line running from my lil box all the way 3 flights of stairs up into the attic from ground floor now apperently there is no power or so called not enough power to support my little splitter anymore in the house is there anything I can do for this made up thing or myth by my mother to get power back into both box's well mine hers is fine cause I got lots o thing to do in the gaming world and homework U.S. History and English 3 They suck so much but owell. Some smart guy get meh a solution please if not brand new pc going out the window and 140$ splitter is dieing with it thx guys... all together im losing 1,280$ and Ill have pissed off parents getting me counseling as to why I behaved so stupidly and im out 1.2k.
