Need some help

Here are the issues.

HDD was crashing so I replaced that since it was still under warranty. Everything seemed fine after that

Comp will now randomly either lock or the screen will go black with the comp still running.

No heat issues at all

Reboot after either of these issues causes the Epox 8rda+ mobo to beep continously with the error code FF which could be a boot attempt or it could be the following:

Failing mobo

BIOS chip improperly seated (have never attempted to take this out so I don't think it's the issue)

Incorrect bios flash (haven't flashed BIOS for a very long time.)

Part of me thinks it's the mobo failing but another part seems to think it's the video card. When the screen goes black, no amount of ctrl, alt, del will work and the monitor light goes amber which general means no video. During the testing of a video game that's coming out soon, the game will sometimes lock with this horrible shrill coming out of my headset which is followed by me rebooting and getting that beeping sound from the mobo.

After getting my system back up today, it is now restarting about every 15 minutes which could indicate a possible memory issue?? The comp is over 3 years old now so I definitely need to build another one but financial probs prohibit such a thing


The computer will usually come back up if I reset the CMOS jumper if that helps at all

any help is appreciated

 

I would look at Memory issue before everything else.
