Okay so I am going everywhere asking this, and I hope maybe there is someone here who ran into the same problem. I have always collected old console games; specifically I collected NES, SNES, and GENESIS games. I have all of the consoles myself and let them collect dust for a few years. About a month ago I grew tired of my 360 and wanted to live it up in the '90s again! I sure was angry when I could not find ANY of the connections (AV and power) for the three consoles. I guess I have three major points/paths, and I hope someone can help me elaborate on them and figure something out.

    • I have done some light searching and found that you can buy some universal connectors, but they do not look especially reputable. Anyone know of any ones that actually work?
    • I have also seen that if I were to piece out the connectors on ebay, or nintendo which sells SNES and NES connections for outrageous prices, I would end up spending over one hundred bucks (not exactly the kind of investment I want to put into it).

On a side note I would be willing to purchase any connections someone might have laying around...for a resonable price. Hit me up!
    • Finally is it true that the Gamecube uses the same power connection as the NES and SNES?

    Hope someone can help!

Why eBay...? Don't you have video game trade-in stores for used games and consoles in your town? Go there. They get old consoles in trade-ins all the time, and if a console is not good enough to sell, they are left with the spare cables. They'll probably be happy to sell you some at a very reasonable price, and it removes the hassle of shipping and the risks of dealing with anonymous sellers on eBay. And stores like that have old-gen games too... definitely worth looking at. ;)

And if I remember correctly, the Gamecube had its proprietary power connector, so you need a Gamecube cable. I have my NES and SNES in storage though, so I can't verify that for sure. That's another thing you can check when you're in that store.

I will have to do some local searching. I'm in San Antonio, TX and all we have here are Gamestops. I can only assume that there is some little hole in the wall downtown... To the internet!
