    Hey, there, everyone.

I've noticed some weird stuff going on with my laptop, but especially when I log online via AOL. I normally run AVG and Avira, but recently I've also alternately used Spybot, Dr. Web Cureit, Viper, and NOD32. Each program has found different issues, but I'm still experiencing some things. Like most people, I absolutely loathe the idea of reinstalling my Windows XP OS, not to mention the loads of programs I use. (And, did I mention I use my laptop for work?) So, I thought this would be a good time to post a HiJackThis log and get some expert guidance on what else I need to do. That said, I really appreciate the help, and here's the log:

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

As you likely already know is that malware is a massive pest these days and does its level best to hide itself in any number of places, So just a Hijackthis log will not show all the malware that can be on your PC, the full guide of our steps below has a few other logs that show alot of the malware on your PC and where they are located,

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
