Need Sound Driver, Please HELP!!!

My Sound doesnt work, plz do not tell me little questions, is ur speakers on, did u unzip the file. im kinda advanced

the rundown:
I have scanned for new hardware and my op sys isn't detecting it. The drivers are there and working properly but when I went into control panel and open "Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices", it says there's No Audio Device under the volume tab. Under the Audio tab it states that there's no MIDI, Playback, or Recording devices.

My device manager has the following which are all working properly:

Audio Codecs
Legacy Audio Drivers
Legacy Audio Drivers
Legacy Video Capture Devices
Media Control Devices
Video Codecs

None of these devices have a ? or ! indicating that there's a problem. I should have a Realtek AC '97 Audio device in this list, but it is not there and I don't know what happened to it

The scan from EVEREST reported your board is Foxconn 661M03 G
I download the file my self,,,,, just to make sure find the Setup.exe it should be that one,,, make sure you unzip the file to a folder

doesnt work...



other:
most drivers i dl didnt work!
they just give me a AVRack media player

According to Foxconn, you have an SiS chipset with RealTek Audio...

SiS makes their own sound driver. If the above one doesn't work, we'll try the SiS driver. The Foxconn driver says Windows2000, but it should also work for WinXP.
You could also run Unknown Devices to find out what sound you're running since the other info programs didn't help. Be sure the sound/audio is enabled in your BIOS! I'm thinking it's been disabled or a motherboard jumper isn't configured correctly. If it was enabled properly at board level in the BIOS or with a jumper, you'd have a yellow question mark in the device manager, and you didn't mention it, so I'm assuming it's not there. So check your BIOS and your motherboard audio jumpers (should be listed in the manual). Then run Unknown Devices if the above Foxconn driver doesn't work.
