need these specific files please

ok on my new computer i need these things:

Virus protection (that nortons crap dont work, it has been unsuccessful in the past at detecting virus')
Pop up blocker
Spyware protection

All this has to be downloadable, easy to use, and FREE

Sorry if this sounds like im a dick but a lot of other boards havent been very knowledgable.

I have windows XP and a dell computer, on SBC Yahoo DSL internet connection.
