Need to find my WEP key

just got an itouch and want to hook up the internet, i dont know my key. Usually i just use the flash drive method to connect another computer, but no an option. I went to 192.168.1.1 and my user and pass are accepted but the page is blank. please help. linksys WRT54G V8 is the model of my router.

 

Have you tried accessing it via a different browser, Opera or Firefox, for example?

 

Tried firefox then IE will try opera now.

Hmm, I've noticed many posts about blank pages here recently, can you reach other websites ok? (trying to rule out some things here)

If it were my router, I'd do a hard reset - should be a recessed button to set it back to default settings - also, many routers have the default WEP key on a sticker on the base.

 

No sticker, everything else works great internet wise. I was using the linksys easylink adviser but it would just tell me that i had a static connection but no active connection could be found. I installed network magic to see if it could access the router info but it says wireless security: not available, not sure if that is because it already has the wep. tried the reset button on the router and nothing changed.

 

just retried the 190.168.1.1 and the page opened. must have been the reset. thanks a ton, would probably been afraid of bricking the sys with the button if i did not read it somewhere. thanks again.
