At one time I had found a utility on MG that identified and displayed the Win XP authentication code. As I am planning on upgrading my system in the near future (new Mobo and cpu) I have looked for my documentation with my XP install disk and cannot find it (got to love the kids right?). So, I am in need of being able to display and record my code onto a new piece of paper and maybe even tatoo it onto my son in the middle of the night so I won't ever lose it again (can you guess who lost the paperwork?). Anyone know what that utility was or where I can get a utility that will accomplish this?

Hey Highflyer! No, that will not give the product key, it gives other information instead. However, I have found what I was looking for, am performing a check here on MG to see if it is here before I mention it's name and get myself into trouble for soliciting an site different from MG. :) When I find out that it's not here I'll mention it at that time if it is ok with the admins. Could you pretty please ask that wonderful lady of yours if that is fine? Thanks again m8.

Starman, you are correct. In the past Belarc did not show the product key just the software license. Seems as if they have changed the program and I was unaware of that change. Thanks again m8! I owe you yet another one. :)

well, yes and no. You know my sister passed away last summer from the injuries she suffered in her accident. Since then life has been tough but good. Work is sporadic this year but not too bad lately (been laid off for the last 2 1/2 weeks but worked fairly steady since November before that). Jean (my wife) and I are looking forward to going to Haiti on our mission trip coming in March 18th to the 25th (I sent you and Abby a letter on that did I not?) and we are still struggling with the finances of that but God will provide. Other than that, Jean's Parkinson's Disease has been under control now for ~3 years and she has even been able to get off of her meds for the last 3 months. Hopefully this up trend will continue. BTW please tell Abby that I still pray for you and her and your continued good fortune. Glad to see you back on MG since your last sabbatical (forced). Will ttyl unless you have more questions for me sir.

Your friend and hopefully sometime visitor if we ever get back down that way! I would love to meet you in person! Cya....

The minimum spec is 333MHz. I had it running on a 500 MHz k6 for a while.

It actually runs on a 133 with 128. It needed lots of tweaking and took forever to start but once up it worked.
