Need virus help...... again.... and again

    I ran spybot and AVG and this came up... even though it is always up on my daughters computer.

    Virus
    Trojan horse Downloader. Keenval.C
    is found in file
    C:\System Volume Information\_restore{E06096AE-CE28-4596-A664-8BA09423F8D5}\RP129\A0045202.exe
    to remove this virus Please run AVG for windows

    I hope all that is right... however I do run avg and nothing happens.

    What do you suggest?

    That means it was saved in your system restore as a check point, an area that your AVG can not access. I suggest you disable system restore and run AVG and a trojan remover from safe mode.

    1: Right click on the My Computer icon on your desktop and select properties.
    2: Click on the system restore tab.
    3: Check the box that says "Turn off system restore on all drives". Click OK.
    4: Click Yes when you are prompted to restart the computer
    5: To re-enable System Restore, follow steps 1-3, but in step 3, click to clear the Disable System Restore check box.

    Boot into Safe Mode; After you restart your computer tap the f8 key (after first black and white screen, but before the Windows splash screen) until you get to a black and white screen asking you what to do. Choose "safe mode without networking".
