*Need web host scam help*

Sorry ,I dont know where else to put this, but I just ran across a really weird problem lately.

I switched my whole site to a new host at www.inetter.net
And the past two days I have not been able to sign into my cpanel, get to my website, or theirs.
I keep getting a 'refused connection' error. I tried signing on through my ftp and got the same message. I tried calling the number listed on my paypal transaction, and it said that it was an 'incorrect mailbox'.
It's been doing this the past two days now.
I know that servers go down, but that doesnt explain the bogus number that I was given.

I just get the feeling I was just scammed.
I can get my money back no problem, it was through paypal. But now Im worried I just lost my entire site.

My question is - has anybody had problems/heard of problems with this host, and/or know what the heck I can do to get my site information, or is it lost forever?
