Nerdy TV show

    I just, 2 nights ago, discovered The Big Bang Theory. Omg...that show cracks me up. It's got Darlene from the show Rosanne and her boyfriend from that show too.

    Has anyone seen this? Freakin funny if you ask me.

    What's with all the nerd shows lately? Are nerds the new sex symbol?

    I haven't heard of it, what station is it on?

    Kevin Smith has a TV series he produces called Reaper on the CW network, that's pretty funny. But I'm all about Scrubs. I LOVE that show.

    It's on CBS. I watched a second episode where the cute girl breaks up with her cute boyfriend who writes of their, um, intimate moments, on his blog so she breaks up him. The nerdy dude asks her out and she decides to ask the other nerd his opinion. From there it just got hysterical.

    I've never seen the Reaper, or heard of it. I'll look for it.

    I watched a few eps of scrubs a long time ago. That was funny, but I never watched much of it. Good show though.

    I've only seen a couple episodes of The big bang theory, i think it is ok but i do love Reaper and religiously watch it. Another really funny geek sitcom is a British one called The IT Crowd, it just cracks me up. Catch it on 4OD (Channel 4 On Demand) online. Not sure if you can get it in USA or other countries but can't see why not as it's on the web.

    I think Reaper is a spin or at least inspired by, a Showtime series that ended a tad early called "Dead Like Me" That show was awesome.

    They say it's actually "cool" to be considered a "geek" now. Now...I don't have a PhD in Sociology, but I'm gonna guess it's cause computers and electronic technology are a major part of our lives, and going to become even more so in the future.

    I don't know...I could be wrong. *shrugging shoulders*

    BTW...Big Bang Theory & Scrubs are both hilarious!!!!

    I have Reaper set to record. Maybe it's On Demand. I'll have to check that out.



    So maybe the Geek and not the weak shall inherit the earth. :-D
