nero 6 cd burning software

just downloaded this software ,but it asks for a serial number which did not come with the download, what do i do??

 

Go out and buy the program. It's not free, and we can't help you pirate it.

Or, you might try looking for alternatives in the Backup section of the download pages.

tagheur1, Nero 6 has been discontinued. I believe that is an update for those who already own it.

i had the software with the computer when i bought it, however after a hard drive crash and replacement it will not work and the company who made the computer no longer trades. the software key i had no longer works and the major geeks site offered the software as free and as a trial, so i was not pirating just seeking a solution

i don't understand why it is asking for a number i have Nero 6 that came with my computer i have had to reinstall on three occasions and as long as i installed all the drivers firs Nero fully installed every time.
not really sure what i can say to help you sorry.
