When I go to burn a CD in nero... it asks me for a place to save the image... wtf I don't want to save an image... i want to burn the compliation that i just put together.... it says nothing about CD-r(dvd-r) that I have... why does it just want to save an image... it worked fine before this. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling nero...... nothing... still asks for a place to save the "image"......

I'm not to computer-illerterate.. but im confused on this one.

I'm on an XP media center machine, its not mine but a friends... any help appreciated

Check your power lead to the Rom. look in 'My Computer' to see if Rom is listed.

If Nero is set to use the Image Recorder as the drive "burner", it will do that every time. Once you have a new compilation open, Go to "Recorder" menu and then Choose Recorder. Select the CD burner instead of the Image Recorder.
