Nero2 Express DVD backups

Can anyone tell me how to use Nero2 Express to burn a *.AVI file that is over the size limit of a single layer DVD? If the *.AVI file could be saved as a double layer image then I would imagine a program like DVDShrink could reduce its size to get it to fit onto a single layer DVD.

 

DVD Shrink is the cat's #ss.
By default Shrink uses Nero's burning rom, you wont even have to open Nero to burn an image.
