net framework 3

    i am not a tech so please be patient with me.

    i have just used Microsoft updates an it suggested that i download Net framework 3 as i have already got 1.1and 2.0 do i really need this also if i do download it can i delete the others

    .NET framework V3.0 only installs the new Vista components, and is designed to work alongside V2.0 in Windows XP SP2 only. If you are not running SP2 do not update to V3.0

    If you do update, you need to leave V2.0 installed.
