Net Send Help

I have been trying to figure out how to use net send and I am having some trouble. I understand what to write in the cmd prompt and all, but my problem is that I am not sure how to have the computers connect to the server.

I get messages like these.

"the message alias could not be found on the network.

So my question is how do connect my computer and the other to a network. I am running a wireless router on one and the other one is connecting via wireless. Is is possible to connect on a network on this? I thought they were both on a network seeing as they are connected wirelessly. confused

If you are using WinXP sp2, this might help you out http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839018

Could also be a firewall issue.

FYI if you start the messenger service you may get many more popups as this is commonly abused by bad people to spam.
