    Hi guys and gals,
I bought a Netgear WG111t USB2.0 wifi adapter on ebay. I turned out to be used and thats fine, but it dosn't seem to be working properly. I decided on this adapter because it says it is compatible (and with the defualt drivers only compatible) with windows XP. The other two usb wifi adapters I've used have an issue with windows XP and the network connection drops unless you disable the Wireless Zero Configuration service after startup. Anyway, my new adapter is even worse. The connection will just drop randomly and sometimes I can't get it to reconnect at all until after about 3 or 4 system restarts. It has good signal and is connected to a USB2.0 port. Did the guy just sell me a faulty product, it seems that way to me, no one else on the web seems to have these problems with this adapter.
Anyone know if there is a fix?

I can answer on the wireless zero thing. Netgear's config utility conflicts with it. You have to disable it with Netgear cards.
