Netgear wireless N missing with media player

when im watching a film or music my usb 2 netgear wirless N seaches for a signal every 2/3 mins my media player gets gitchy and slows down, like when you have too many programs open and not enough ram and player plays slow and sticks..:confused

2 gb ram
ati 1650 256ram
netgear usb wn121t

 

Perhaps you could try a different channel on the wireless connection. Change it on the router configuration page and adapter properties.
Checked for any firmware upgrades on the router and driver upgrades on the adapter?
