Netgear wpn824v3 Beacon Settings

So I've gone through the manual and several other forums trying to find out how to change the beacon interval on a Netgear wpn824v3 but I've found nothing. Netgear's support is awful, so I thought I would try here! I'm sure someone else has wanted to change this setting at some point but I can't find an answer anywhere.

So the layout that you describe doesn't match the user interface of my router. Chances are you may be thinking of the interface for the v2 (which for whatever reason has more up-to-date firmware than the v3.) There is no "Advanced Wireless LAN Parameters" selection and within the Advanced -> Wireless menu there isn't an option to change the beacon interval; only options to change the Fragmentation Length and CTS/RTS Threshold.

Is it possible that the v3 doesn't have this option available? Or has anyone successfully installed the v2 software onto the v3?

 

There's no DTIM Interval option on the v3, either. You're right, it must be something they left off after patching the v2. I'll keep trying to find another way around what I'm trying to do in the mean time (I'm not sure if it's worth flashing the v2 firmware just yet.)

I'm not sure I understand your reply, Ashily. If the option to adjust the Beacon interval isn't available in the v3's firmware, what good is it going to do if I do a factory reset? Perhaps you could elaborate. If would seem to me that the firmware is going to be almost identical as I haven't seen any real change in the upgrades I've done between unboxing it and my current version.
