    Hi All

I work for a small ISP and we have just begun to distribute Netopia 2210 DSL/Router modems. I am running into issues with older DLINK routers that are not capable of making a PPPoE connection when they are connected to the Netopia 2210.

The modem is configured in bridge mode by default, but so far with these older DLINKs they won't make the PPPoE connection. I can work around this for the time being, by setting the modem to make the PPPoE or the PC themselves using the router as the switch, but I would like to figure this out so they can be setup properly.

I can take the same routers that experience the issue and connect them to a different brand of modem and have them connect immediately using PPPoE.

I have updated the routers with the latest possible firmware for them and the modems have their most updated firmware.

At this point I am looking for any suggestions.
