Netscape Portable Runtime

    Windows Action Center informs me that:

    "Netscape Portable Runtime has stopped working (10) times... Your PC is missing updates that can help improve it's stability and security." It then instructs me to "go to the Mozilla website to download the latest version of Netscape Portable Runtime". Following the link takes me to the Mozilla Developers Network (MDN) which shows me not how to download the latest version of the Runtime but rather how to BUILD it from scratch using a combination of programming suites. The info is WAY over this non-programmer's head and I couldn't complete the process if my life depended on it.

    Does anyone know where I can download the latest Netscape Portable Runtime files for Windows 7 (sp1) 64-bit?

    Nope, I'm not a computer just a little old lady sitting in front of her computers trying to help folks out. :-D
    Along the way, I read and learn a lot from the problems posed.

    When I started with computers back in the 80's, I felt I got taken a few times. I decided I'd learn as much as I could so some fast talking sales person would not take advantage of me again. I'm trying to help others also not being taken advantage of.

    I'm sorry that you got taken advantage of. I think we all have at certain times in our lives. But as far as computers go, it seems like you can now certainly hold your own against any potential hucksters. Looking forward to future posts by you.
