NETSCAPE Version 7.1 refuses to re-install

    I had a successful dnload & install of the lastest Netscape browser right over top my Netscape Ver 6 in June 2003. I used AdAware to remove a bunch of suspicious files & now I'm unable to re-install Netscape Ver 7. Tried Explorer & Communicator as sites to dnload fm. The install gets as far as putting icons on the desktop but refuses to throw the quick start icon down in the tray & clicking on the Netscape icon does nothing? I've uninstalled & re-installed over & over. Did scan disk, defragment & reg fix. Nothing awakens Netscape again?

    I am not sure what has happened there.The best thing to do would be to download a fresh copy direct from Netscape or better still try the mozilla browser which is very similar but uses less resources the link can be found here
