netsky worm

    Could someone please tell me the steps to follow to remove the netsky worm. It loads 3 program files on the desktop and continually warns you that you have the netsky virus. Also task manager is locked so I can't manually stop any program from running.

    After I ran superspyware and especially spybot the errors disappeared. spybot found a taskmanager worm or virus and that fixed things up. My taskmanager had been deactivated until then.

    Where there is one...there are sure to be others lurking. I would still suggest you finish the instructions and attach the requested logs. :)
