So, after running a clean install of XP Pro SP3 I am obviously missing some drivers. I have downloaded all drivers from Acer that I needed but I am missing the Network Card driver I believe as I am getting an "Ethernet Controller" error in the device manager and even though I have wireless capabilities and a working router the computer will not detect it. I have tried looking for a driver but to no avail.. help?

    Hi

What model ACER PC/Laptop do you have?

Armed with that info we can advise the correct drivers for you and likely you will need Chipset and then Lan/Ethernet.

Also list what devices in Device Manager have Yellow ! marks next to them?

If you are struggling to find the model name and version then try the below as it may give us some clues.
