Network IP ...

I'am on a network, and I wanted to know how I can get my own IP instead of the 192. - The 192. ip doesnt let me do a lot of stuff. I cant host, direct file upload, exct..


Can anyone help me get my own IP?

And by the way, If I try to connect to the host running of my computer (Counter-Strike source server) I have to type the 192. IP - The problem with that is, other people wont be able to connect becouse they cant use the 192. IP - Also I'am on a 1000MBIT 1G switch. Can I be helped?

No, I dont use a DSL modem, just plain old cable from the wall...

 

Well. the IP dependent on where to the Cable in the wall goes to.

May be it will fun to find out.
