I wasn't sure if this should go to the Network forum, or the Web Links forum, or what, but it's all software so here it is. I was cruising the web a few days ago looking for info on how to surf totally anonymously when I stumbled across this site. It's a list (complete with descriptions, download links, etc) of some excellent apps for network security. All types of things are covered from antivirus to encryption to tunneling to traffic analysis to packet sniffing, and lots of stuff for network admins and IT people, and MUCH MORE. For those interested, here's the link: http://sectools.org/index.html

Some apps are free, and some aren't, most run with Windows, but some are *nix based, but they are all clearly labeled. ENJOY!!! :-D

I'd say so. I have heard of (and used) many of the apps listed there, and I can vouch for those as being totally legit. I did use some of the links they provided and they were all perfect, and the descriptions are accurate. All this combined tells me that the site is trustworthy.

(Besides, I wouldn't post a questionable link here at Major Geeks LOL )
