I'm wondering how i can network 2 of my computers so that i can share internet connection and also have an extra drive which can be viewed on both computers. And maybe even share printers, i need to buy a router right? I found a few but am not sure if they can allow me to do that.

Any of the Cable/DSl Routers (or Wireless Cable/DSL Router) would allow you to share one Cable/DSL Internet among many computers as well as configure Local Network (LAN) that can share Files and Printers.
