Not sure this is the right place for this, but here goes.
I have a 3 machine peer to peer home network. One Windows 7 Home premium, one Windows 7 Pro, and one Windows 10 Pro machine. The W7 Home machine is hard wired. The other 2 are wireless.

Today, I changed the name of the W7 Pro machine and added it to my existing workgroup. (It went from the generic Workgroup name to the name I had assigned to the other machines.)

Now, when I try to see the 7 Pro machine from the 7 Home machine, I get a prompt to enter my network password. There is no net work password.

I can see and have read/write access to the 7 Home machine from the 7 Pro machine, but not in the other direction. This is new, since I changed the Computer name on the 7 Pro machine.

    Thoughts? Thanks.

share_shot.jpg Here is a screenshot of the message. Also, I can see, but apparently not write to the W10 machine from the 7 Home machine.

use the same user name on all 3 computers? or click use another account and try to use an account on that computer.
