I have a simple network setup at home here. Running through a Linksys router.

On some of the computers the Automatic Settings for IP work and on others I have to manually input an IP and a Gateway.

Is there something in the systems that I have to manually setup that can be changed to make the automatic settings work again?

You have to look at the TCP/IP .Properties and set them to Obtain IP Auto.

Make sure that the Routers DHCP is set with a range that allows as many IPs as the number of computers that you have (look at the manual).

The units that I have setup manually when I set them to Obtain IP Automatically, I get a Limited/No connectivity error when on Auto.

If I manually configure them they work fine. I was just curious as to why the Auto IP is not working anymore. It did work fine for the longest time.
