Never a dull moment...

Came home from work tonight and couldn't get into my neighborhood. Cops had it barricaded. Finally was allowed in, and found out a man 3 doors down from me was shot and killed around 6:00 PM. Don't have many details yet, and no, they haven't caught the guy that did it. Cops are still crawling all over the area looking for clues, etc. I'll go to bed tonight cuddled up to my S&W .357 Magnum.

 

Sounds like you are taking the necessary precautions.

Nobody in custody. Haven't heard if they've even identified who they're chasing, although they were all over the crime scene for half the night last night.

 

Damn man I'm having flashbacks from last year, a lady 6 houses up from me had her lights turned out. Same thing...barricaded street, had to wait until they got all the info together, caught the guy the same night though.
Met, an old freind I hadn't seen in ten years, he was on the scene (Sheriff's Deputy) freakish way to catch-up on old times...
