Am I the only one that has wanted to see this movie since they mentioned it was going into production and because it's a Batman movie and not because of Ledger starring in it?

I'm sorry the guy's life was cut short, but I don't think he was that great of an actor.

There I said it. And I know i'm going to get trampled for it but oh well *flame suit on*

That's true, it has become a bit morbid, shame he is gone but makes me wonder if that is causing the big anticipation with box offices opening at midnight even here in Armpit.

Friend saw it last night, 'Pluses: Action, action, action, and more action. Did I say action? Good Lord. Guns, bombs, explosions, knives, fistfights, various other weapons, car chases, more explosions, more bombs, and more car chases.'

That makes me actually want to see it. :-D

@darlene....I agree. I think the whole thing is morbid. I also agree with Blues. I don't think he was a great actor.

Don't get me wrong I would like to see it also, I'll see it when it is available on DVD or pay per view. I wonder if it would be so wildly popular if not for his death though.

I think it'd carry over a lot of popularity without Heath dying, but I do think it's helped the sales of tickets. However, the production company has done a really respectful job of promoting the movie past Heath's death. I was really impressed with their treatment of his last performance.

By the way, I'm new here and wanted give a shout. I look forward to being on the boards with you guys in the future. I'm a gamer and a bit of a techie, so this board seemed like the logical place. Not to mention, I just started a product marketing job so I'll be needing something to take my mind of the workload from time to time.

Well, after watching this movie I most certianly can tell you that it doesn't suprise me that Ledger killed himself. Not to mention if you can, I completely recomend that anyone go see it, it was spectacular.

Actually.. to be fair, he didn't on purpose. He overdosed on his medication that people speculated he had to take to sleep because of this role. But noone knows for sure.

I really want to see this, i hope I can free up the money to go.
