i created a new boot drive with the new hard drive i have. i used the software that came with it to format and copy over all files to the new drive and hooked it up as master and unplugged old drive. this is the second time i've done this and i get read memory error:
    ______________________________________________________
    rundll32.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x5c0299b2" referenced memory at "0x000000 1c" The memory could not be "read"....

The exception unknown software exception (0xc015000f) occured in the application at location 0x7c943345.

the old drive is perfectly fine, chkdsk and defrag work fine and i never had any problems with it, maybe it's the maxtor's company software for formating/trasferring not installing properly although it says install successful...

upon restart i get message needing to check drive for inconsistency and list volume serial.... the drive is formatted into 2 volumes, i can only check serial on first volume and can't access information on 2nd volume less i use properties but i'ld assume that to be normal.

30gb is set up for fat32 and 90 is for ntfs, if someone could guide me in the direction of formating and partitioning the new drive similarily in cmd window to be new boot drive it would be most appreciated.
