New Boy Needs Advice.

Can anyone recommend a piece of software that will delete all the past searches that have been typed into the Yahoo/MSN or anyother seach engine and will keep them blank in future searches? Does such a thing exsist??

Do you mean , so it does'nt show what you've been looking at?

Say you type in "p" it will list things begining with that letter?

If that is the case I think ; "Tools - Internet Options - Clear history" will sort it out.

Maybe Im wrong , and im sorry if I am , I dont use internet explorer ( if thats what your using )

 

I've tried that, I have my history set at "0" anyway, I'm talking about Yahoo/MSN search engines which seem to keep a memory of everything that has been typed in!

 

Ok , I had another go , I think this works ( Sorry about before ).

I think Internet explorer saves form information through "auto complete" , to get rid of this information do this ;

Tools - Internet Options - Content - Auto Complete - Then press clear forms.

Tell me if this works

EDIT : And for further reference , search engines do not keep a record of what is searched. Your browser does.

That worked a treat. It's cleared everything. So if that does it I won't bother with the MRU-Blaster, not unless it does more stuff! What do you reckon?
