    Hello!

Im building a new pc and I thought Id better ask this question to be on the safe side.
My motherboard is an Rog Strix X470-f and the the connectors for the fans on the mobo have four pins.
But my Case fans only have 3 pin connectors. (The fans are cooler master Silent fan 120 s12)
Now I was assuming that I could still use my case fans as long as I made sure they were in right. (grounded properly and stuff)

But I dont want to take any chances so Im asking here!

    Thanks In advance!

    Yes.

The 3 pin connector to the fan will only go in one way into the 4 pin header on the mobo. Before I added a fan controller to my rig I had two three pin fans plugged into 4 pin headers on my mobo.

The only thing I would check is how many watts the fan draws.
