New Build (in Progess)

So, I'm looking into upgrading my aging build. Current build is:
Asus x79 running 3930k cpu.
64 GB ram
Have 2 970 GPUs (had 3, one died).
1TB SSD, 1 TB 10k drive, one 250 GB ssd.

New build, looking at a few things that I need (Eventually).

I will be getting an x99 board, waiting on the new -e chips from intel. Not sure if I'll go with 10 core or not.

I'm using this computer for high-end Virtual environments. Also a few games. Any suggestions?

 

Keep an eye on the graphics cards, the next die shrink should make them much more efficient.
High-end Virtual Reality will take all the power you can buy and then some. I currently game at 4K and have to make some compromises even though my system is considered "very fast".
