I just finished building a new comp. When it boots windows 7 64 bit starts to load (small colored circles that form the windows logo), then I get a quick BSOD that flashes for about .5 sec and then the comp restarts and does the same all over again. I tried using the old HD. using one ram at a time and same problem

I videoed the the start up and captured the BSOD ("A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you have seen this stop error, restart you computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps: check for viruses on ur comp, remove any hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check 'Camera didn't catch" to make sure it is properly configured and run chkdsk/F to check for hard drive corrupt then restart

Not sure if this might be the cause as well... I already installed Windows 7 on my Ssd from the old computer. Would that conflict with the new hardware?

    It's possible.
    Re-install Windows 7.

    Thanks for the feedback. :)
Any version of Windows on a HDD/SSD from one PC whill have problems on another PC because of hardware differences.

I have another issue....I used free active kill on my old internal 1 TB HD so I can use for storage in the new system. When I put it in it says I had to format. I selected NFTS but now it says I have only 99.9 mb of space. Can I fix this? If so, how?

I rebooted my comp and now I see drive F: 99.9 mb and another drive I: with the correct size. Should I remove drive F?
